What Episodes Is
Episodes is a TV show and anime tracking application. It allows users to log the episodes they watch, rate episodes, maintain a watchlist, and discover new shows. Episodes does not host, stream, distribute, upload, or provide access to any video content, television episodes, films, or other copyrighted audiovisual works.
Content Disclaimer
All show metadata, episode information, cast details, and imagery displayed on Episodes is sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) under their API terms of service. Episodes is not affiliated with TMDB, any television network, studio, or streaming service.
Streaming availability information (where shown) is provided by JustWatch via TMDB and directs users exclusively to official, licensed platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Paramount+, and Peacock. Episodes does not link to, endorse, or facilitate access to any unauthorized content.
Show posters, episode thumbnails, and other images are the intellectual property of their respective rights holders. Their display on Episodes falls under fair use for purposes of identification and commentary, consistent with TMDB's usage guidelines.
DMCA Policy
Episodes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), Episodes will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available on or through Episodes infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it on our service;
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address);
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will review your notice and, if valid, take appropriate action — which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. Note that because Episodes does not host video content, the vast majority of content on the platform is metadata (titles, descriptions, episode numbers) and not copyrightable in the manner covered by the DMCA.
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice to our agent at the address above. Counter-notices must meet the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
No Piracy — Zero Tolerance
Episodes has a zero-tolerance policy for any use of our platform to facilitate access to pirated or unauthorized content. If you believe you have found a link on Episodes that leads to unauthorized content, please report it to legal@episodestv.com immediately and we will investigate and remove it.
